（通讯员：张换成）4月13日下午，哈尔滨工业大学MA、MTI主任郑淑明教授应邀来我院作了题为《朗文词典释义与译文之商榷——兼谈翻译学习方法》的学术讲座。外国语学院院长秦平新、党总支书记袁晓、副院长董星华及200余名师生聆听了讲座，讲座由秦平新主持。
(Correspondent: Zhang Huancheng) On April 13th afternoon, Professor Zheng Shuming, the director of MA and MTI in Harbin Institute of Technology, was invited to our college to present the academic lecture on "A discussion on entrydefinition anditstranslationinLongman Dictionary of Contemporary English,also on learning method of translation ". Qin Pingxinthe dean of School of Foreign Languages, Yuan Xiaopartysecretary of the School of Foreign Languages and more than 200 teachers and studentsattneded the lecture which was hosted by Qin Pingxin .
讲座中，郑淑明以《朗文当代高级英语辞典》（英英•英汉双解第4版）为例，从词典概述、朗文词典释义与译文之商榷、翻译学习方法等三个方面进行了生动详实的解读。讲座结束后，郑淑明还就提升教师文化修养、强化教师职业道德以及报考哈尔滨工业大学研究生应注意的事项等问题和现场的师生进行了深入交流。
In the lecture, Zheng Shuming tookLongman Dictionary of Contemporary English (English-English dictionary and English-Chinese dictionary, the fourth edition) as an example, expatiated on the three aspects of the introduction to the dictionary, the entry explantion and translation of Langman Dictionary and ways of translation vividly. After the lecture, Zheng Shuming communicated more with the teachers and students on issues of promoting the cultural awareness of teachers, and strengthening the professional ethics of teachers, and on the question of how to apply for the postgraduate program in Harbin Institute of Technology.
此次讲座，是我院香山大讲堂的第五讲，也是我院文化讲堂的一部分，讲座的开展，加深了师生对翻译学习方法的了解，拓展了师生的视野，提升了师生的文化修养。
This lecture is the fifth lecture of Xiangshan Lecture Room.The lecture has deepened the teachers and students' understanding of learning methods on translation, expanded their horizons and enhanced their cultural awareness.
郑淑明，教育部学位与研究生教育与发展中心学位论文通讯评议专家，全国翻译专业资格（水平）考试阅卷专家，中国翻译协会专家会员，黑龙江省翻译协会会员，黑龙江省杰出翻译家，加拿大渥太华大学访问学者，哈尔滨工业大学MA、MTI主任，在《中国翻译》、《中国科技翻译》、《中国科技术语》等学术刊物，以及在第十八届世界翻译大会、第四届全国应用翻译研讨会等学术会议发表、宣读论文40余篇。
Zheng Shuming is an dissertation evaluation expert of China Academic Degree & Graduate Educate Information Development Center, Ministry of Education; an CATTI exam marker, an expert member of the Translators Association of China, the member of the Translators Association of Heilongjiang Province, an outstanding translator in Heilongjiang Province and a visiting scholar in the Ottawa University. He is the director of MA and MTI in Harbin Institute of Technology. He has published 40 papers on the Chinese Translators Journal,the Chinese ScienceandTechnology Translators Journal,the Chinese Scienceand Technology Terms Journal and delivered speeches on the 18th FIT World Congress, and the 4th National Seminar on Applied Translation, etc.
